  • Persina Nature Park

    The Persina Natural Park is unique for Bulgaria and is the only one on the Bulgarian river Valley. Its announcement aims at the preservation and restoration of the Danube wetlands, with particular emphasis on preserving the natural state of the numerous islands entering the boundaries of the park. Here is the largest Bulgarian and fourth largest in Europe Danube Island-Persin, which gave the name of the nature park. Its length is 15 km, and the width reaches up to 6 km.
