Belene Municipality joined the campaign of BTV "Let's clean Bulgaria together"

Today at 9:00 a.m. began the cleaning of the Danube Park, the area around the Persina Nature Park, along the canal, tothe beach next to the Prestige Hotel-Restaurant.
The municipality of Belene had provided gloves and bags for the waste for everyone.
The volunteers who took part in the initiative were about 40 children and adults. Among them were pensioners from the Retirement Club "Nadezhda"-Belene. About one tonne of waste was collected.
The Municipality of Belene would like to thank everyone who took part in the volunteer action today.
